In cross-border real estate transactions, complexity rarely comes from the price alone. It comes from distance, different legal systems, cultural expectations, language, and — very often — incentives that don’t align.
Over the years, I’ve worked with buyers and sellers from Northern Europe, North America, and Italy on transactions where trust and structure mattered far more than speed or commissions. In several cases, I formally represented only one side of the deal, while ensuring that the other party — often foreign owners selling from abroad — experienced a transparent, respectful, and professionally managed process. This is not accidental. It is how I choose to work. I don’t rely on shortcuts, pressure tactics, or informational asymmetry. I believe that even when you represent one party, the transaction works better when everyone clearly understands the process, the timing, and the consequences of each decision. Calm deals close better than rushed ones. |
