Buying property in Italy can require signatures, administrative documents, communication with public offices, and attendance at the final notarial closing.
When properly structured and accepted by the chosen Italian notary, a Special Power of Attorney may allow a buyer to complete important stages of the transaction—and potentially the final purchase—without being physically present in Italy. I help American buyers coordinate this process alongside the Italian notary and the other qualified professionals involved in the transaction. I also assist clients with obtaining the Codice Fiscale, the Italian tax identification code required for an Italian property purchase and many related administrative matters. These services are designed to reduce unnecessary travel, administrative delays, and uncertainty while ensuring that the appropriate requirements are addressed before closing. Available Exclusively to My Buyer-Advisory Clients Power of Attorney and Codice Fiscale coordination is available exclusively to clients who retain me as their buyer’s advisor for the purchase of property in Italy. These services are not offered separately or as standalone administrative assistance. |
