​"I am beyond satisfied with my Italian home purchase through Lorenzo International Real Estate. I had been trying to buy something in Italy for years, starting back in 2016. I even tried working with real estate agents there. Once I flew for what I realized later was just a walk through. One time I came close to making an offer when it became clear the apartment was in a bad building. I had almost given up when I found Piero Lorenzo and his company. "Dream indeed! You are serious about buying property in Italy. You need a trustworthy, patient, knowledgeable person to guide you in your search, from looking at a listing online through the myriad steps to secure your purchase, obtain your keys and enjoy your Italian home. Well, you have found that person in Piero. From my first inquiry to the present day, we have found him to be a genuine person of integrity. Tireless and encouraging throughout our journey, and most importantly, a trusted resource for the future as we enjoy our home away from home. This would to be a once in a lifetime purchase for us; the stakes were very high; we could not make a mistake! Piero spent several hours getting to know us, seeking to understand what this purchase means to us. After sharing our hearts and how we want this to be a legacy from our parents down through future generations, we walked through our wish list and our budget. And so the search was ON! Over the next several months, we sent listings back and forth. Some we found and some Piero found for us to consider. We appreciated the honest feedback on what we thought looked great, but once he checked in to them, were either not in a good location, did not really meet our criteria or were simply not a good fit for us. Along the way, he educated us in the processes, differences and what to expect once we were ready to make an offer. He used his extensive network of contacts in his industry, to confer and offer good counsel. There were hopes and disappointments during our journey. Some homes sold very quickly, which Piero turned into encouragement that we were zeroing in on good choices. Looking back, we would not have been as excited about any of those when we compare it to the home we ultimately ended up with. We had a trip to Italy planned before we ever started our conversations with Piero. Looking at properties was not initially part of our plan, but we rearranged the trip to allow us to visit seven properties, with four different agencies. “Too far from the ferry;’ “too many hills and steps to climb;” “no view;” “ too small….” ‘Beautiful but too far from the larger village…. “ We started to get discouraged and doubtful about whether this “dream” really could become our reality. The final one looked great; it checked off most of our criteria. We had Piero prepare a preliminary offer. Excited. Hopeful. It didn’t go through as the seller decided not to sell after all. Disappointed. Piero encouraged us to enjoy the rest of our trip and suggested we’ll keep looking and not to “settle” on something else just for the sake of it. The great thing was that while we were there looking at apartments, we were able to see several small towns/villages. We came home with a defined area to focus our search. So it continued. Several weeks later, we found “the one.” We approached it cautiously; optimistic but guarded. Piero made the contact with the listing agent, GREEN light. Arranged a video walk-through, GREEN light. He prepared our offer; ACCEPTED! He arranged for a home inspection, set our closing date, and again though his network of professionals, guided us though obtaining a Power of Attorney for the closing. One year and two weeks after I first found Piero via an online search engine, I was back in Italy, doing a final walk through, witnessing our purchase and getting our keys. I spent two beautiful weeks setting up utilities, gazing at the beautiful views from our balcony, exploring cobbled streets and eating gelato. We now have a little piece of paradise to leave as a legacy to our children and grandchildren. With Piero’s guidance, you really can “Dream until your dreams come true.”

Un professionista con i controfiocchi. Avevo una villa in vendita in Calabria da anni, una proprietà difficile da vendere, lontana dal mare, in piena campagna. Piero Lorenzo l'ha presa in gestione e in pochi mesi, nonostante il periodo covid e la scarsa mobilità delle persone, l'ha venduta. Ha gestito una prima trattativa poi sfumata e poi è riuscito a scovare dei clienti inglesi e a gestire una lunga e difficilissima trattativa con pieno successo. Clienti molto difficili, pignoli e precisissimi che hanno chiesto della proprietà vita, morte e miracoli, tremila informazioni, tremila cose, tremila analisi. Poi sono sorti tanti piccoli e grandi problemi. Edilizi, catastali, del terreno. Lui non si è arreso e con una consulenza costante che è durata almeno un mese e mezzo alla fine ce l'ha fatta. La trattativa si è complicata molte volte per vari problemi ma Piero Lorenzo è riuscito con molta pazienza a guidare e contenere i difficili clienti. Un successone. Io sinceramente ho comprato e venduto diverse case, a Milano, a Roma ma mai avevo avuto a che fare con un professionista così preparato e così altamente professionale. "Piero made my dream come true! Today I have officially moved into my new home in Cassano della Murge, Puglia Italy thanks to Piero. I decided to purchase a home and move to Italy full time last fall. I saw a property online and Piero was the realtor. I saw the property but it wasn't ultimately the one for me. A few weeks later I saw the property in Cassano. I asked and Piero agreed to be my realtor and we were off! He made the process understandable and guided me though the offer, the closing with his partner acting as my proxy, and with the local realtor Gaetano. I was supposed to move in in March and then the Corona virus hit. All through it Piero helped me navigate the difficult journey- my furniture had arrived yet I hadn't. So, even though I am still not there, my furniture has now arrived safe and sound to my home. NONE of this would have been remotely possible without Piero. We were first attracted by your informative website, with so many wonderful homes throughout Italy, and lots of advise regarding the steps we needed to take before we could purchase a home in Italy. But when we realized you lived less than an hour away in Santa Cruz, we were very happy to be able to meet you and converse in person. You explained how to apply for the important Codice Fiscale, how to open an Italian bank account, and tips on prices, square footage and what to expect in the Italian regions we were interested in. When we finally decided to take our 3 week house hunting adventure, you asked for our itinerary so you could set us up with the homes you knew we'd love. And you also selected the best local realtors to show us those homes. And you continued to communicate with each realtor throughout our trip. When we got back to the US and finally decided which house would be our dream home, you did a great job of negotiating the best price for us. And since we didn't speak Italian, you were very helpful as our translator whenever we needed you. Looking back on the entire home buying process, it all seemed to happen so quickly. We decided on the unfinished new-build house in July, came back to Italy to purchase the house in September, the seller/contractor completed our home to our specifications by December, and we were back for the closing and key exchange in January!
Piero, without you, we would not have gained the confidence necessary to move forward and buy a home in another country. But thanks to you, we now own our beautiful dream home, and we already have friends and family planning to visit us there, as soon as April. Wow! What a thrill. Would I recommend it to others?
